Muhammad Aurangzeb Ahmad is an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at University of Washington and a Research Scientist at KenSci. Aurangzeb is the founder and editor of the Islam and Sci-Fi project which he has been running since 2005. He has a PhD in Computer Science from University of Minnesota and has published extensively on Artificial Intelligence. His work on personality emulation of deceased people has been widely covered in the media.

Usman Malik is a speculative fiction author and Physician from Pakistan. His short fiction has been published in major science fiction magazines and in a number of "year's best" anthologies. He is the first Pakistani to win the Bram Stoker Award for Short Fiction. He has been nominated for the British Fantasy Award, the World Fantasy Award, and has twice been a finalist for the Nebula Award. His speculative fiction book, Midnight Doorways: Fables from Pakistan, just came out this with wide critical acclaim.
